I'm still recovering from last nights game. Have to replace the TV I put my foot thru.
There are 47 D1 games tonight (all times Nojel). The biggest game should be:
8pm #10Xavier(15-2) at #1Villanova(14-1) FS1

2 B1G games:

7pm Rutgers(11-6) at #4MSU(15-2) BTN
9pm Minnesota(13-4) at NW(10-7) BTN

Other random games:
7pm ND(13-3) at The Rambling Wreck(8-7) ESPNU
7pm #7Duke(13-2) at Pitt(8-8) Coach Stallings ESPN2
9pm Louisville(11-4) at #23FSU(12-3) ESFC
9pm #16TCU(13-2) at Texas(10-5) ESPNU

Now some OT stuff:
The Australian Open starts on Mon, Jan 15.
Baseball spring training starts Fri, Feb 23.

Girls HS BBall:
7:30pm tonight, #1Northwestern(3A)(19-1) at #1OakHill(2A)(15-1)
NW's only loss to Louisville Mercy in a Kentucky tournament & Oak Hill's only loss to Fort Wayne South(4A)(15-3). Some of these ladies may be Lady Boilers one day. Had to mention the NW game because it's my old HS. Besides that, it's Tayson Parker's HS. I'm such a name dropper.

Here are some links:

IHSAA TV(HD quality)- shows G&B sectionals, regionals, semi's, & State finals. I watched Swanigan & Homestead win State back in 2015 on it. Man amongst boys. I remember Shawn Kemp & Glenn Robinson. The Homestead game is still on there. Just choose basketball in the drop down, select On Demand, and at the bottom keep clicking on Show More till you get to 2015. Not sure how far back the archives go. Here's the link:

Finally, done. I hear rain outside. Haven't had any rain or snow here for 100 days. Love the SW weather. Kinda miss snow tho.

Boiler Up!

Rained here last night too, supposedly the first measurable for more than 150 days, but I just heard that at breakfast ... no crediblity.

I worked with the IHSAA about 9 years ago to make their archives streamable. We also did the backup system for all their archives and data.

I appreciate these posts.

No problem Do Dah. Glad to do it. Must have taken a lot of hard work to archive all of the IHSAA videos.

They had them all saved, we just made them streamable and gave them the bandwidth for a reasonable number of people to view them at the same time.

It was back in the gray early years of youtube and other access to video. Most users had limited bandwidth, so there was a challenge to make the IHSAA videos small enough to be streamed.

We also backed-up all their data/videos to a secure offsite vault with high bandwidth so they could shift access to it when needed.
