Should have won at Marshall, but didn't. It's over.
They'll beat ISU. That makes 1-1. Then, there are several games left that CAN be won...
vs. Bowling Green (tough team that can score)
vs. Va. Tech (yes, with QB2 it's possible)
vs. Minnesota (good team, but still winnable)
vs. Nebraska
vs. Illinois
AT Northwestern (chances are low, but NU doesn't have a track record of maintaining consistency)
AT Iowa
vs. Indiana
Is a bowl game LIKELY? Probably not. Would it be more likely with a win at Marshall? Of course. Do I ask myself questions? Yes.
However, the season is not dead. There were definitely some good things happening on the field. In my opinion they looked a lot better than last year. The INT's were UGLY and marred what should have been a good performance. Get better, limit the INT's, shore up the defense, play to win and let's see what happens.
