With Grant, Purdue returns four starters on the offensive line from last year. That is a great place to start, especially as the offense was rounding into form as the season wund down. Grant started all 12 games last season at right guard, and before that he started 29 games at Bowling Green. Since he played as a true freshman in 2020 this is his extra COVID year, and that makes him one of hte most experienced players on the entire team.
The consistency and cohesion Purdue has up front this season should pay some huge dividends. Grant even has experience at center, so if there isa injury to Gus Hartwig he is able to shift over.
