Purchased in disgust. Got $.25/Gal with a coupon for 12 pack of beer at a Kwik Trip.
$4.84 still makes it hard to want to drive to corporate America work anymore.
My point is no coupon is going to make a dent in prices this high and I won’t be shocked at $6/gal by end of summer.
My Dem relatives are in denial that it is driven from one person’s chair. I keep telling them it is E.O. (Executive Order) driven and if they want change vote Republican this Fall. Send a clear message to far left that your done! Figure out future of less oil reliance, but give yourselves a break today at the pump.

Climate change agenda 101. Raise gas and oil prices. AOC and Bernie’s supporters sip wine at night and applaud your desire to reduce your fossil fuel consumption.

2 1/2 more years unless the Republicans take charge after November.

End of summer? End of the month more likely

Sounds like your relatives are smarter than you are.

Sad thing is lower paying jobs are much less frequently able to be done remotely so gas prices have a far more devastating impact on the lower classes.

It will be six bucks a gallon by July 4th.

Yeah, support of Biden in an era where inflation was supposed to be "transitory" is sooo smart...

BTW, we all knew gas prices were going to be higher after COVID. But this administration and their policies against oil has made it that much worse. The fact that people believe the President has zero influence over gas prices makes them extremely gullible.

Yup, one guy shifted the global oil markets while sitting at his desk. There definitely were no other factors in the rise in prices.

It’s pretty amazing that Joe Biden is a dementia stricken idiot, and also masterfully manipulating global markets as part of his evil agenda. Who would have thunk it?
Joe isn't masterfully doing anything. He is just so inept that anything he does is subsequently ruined.

The only factor causing these rise in prices is the potato in the oval office and all his spending and shutting down things just because it was Trump's.

Exactly! It had nothing to do with travel grinding to a halt during a global pandemic, and oil producers laying off thousands of workers while oil prices tanked. And it certainly has nothing to do with demand for oil skyrocketing at the same time as global worker shortages and supply chain issues. Countries are boycotting Russian oil? OPEC+ has been limiting output? I think you and I can agree that we don’t have time to think about all this stuff. FJB! Let’s go Brandon! Yeah, that’s about the level of critical thought I can handle.

And just think, when Biden took over we were energy independent essentially and everything you listed happened after Biden shut down the pipeline. Spin it however you want, Biden owns the gas price issue and inflation and it looks like just about everyone outside of the leftists on this forum agree:

"Congrats" by the way to Joe on reaching the level of the most unpopular President in history!

Good lord, do some research. The US is a net positive oil exporter, but not all crude oil can be refined into gasoline. We imported 6-8 million barrels every day under Trump, and have going back for decades. And even if we didn’t, US oil producers are not going to sell oil products for less than the global market rate. If there’s a global shortage, why would they sell it cheaper in the US?

Name one thing Biden has done to increase domestic production?

Do you think Biden's war on fossil fuels creates labor uncertainty ?
No, I think the oil industry laying off 100,000 employees created labor uncertainty. A lot of those employees are hesitant to come back, and there’s a shortage of available workers in general.

Does anyone really believe Biden is calling the shots? The guy spends his time shaking hands with ghosts and conversing with the likes of blackface Jimmy Kimmel.

What did Joe have for lunch today?
Do you think anything Joe Biden does is creating labor uncertainty in the oil industry? They are making record profits this year. Our current state of affairs is undeniable proof that the oil industry is here to stay for decades to come.

They may be, but development for new oil and gas doesn’t look good.

i don't think Biden himself actually does anything but this corrupt administrations policies have certainly been a major contributor?

Was it egg salad? That is a pretty easy one to pin down from your vantage point.

Ds have learned usually the populace can be easily trained via the media to rationalize anything. California paying $6.24 and they will still gladly vote D in their upcoming elections.

You see the same rationalization from the Ds here. The media has them all well trained on the party line that little of this is due to Biden.

Thank God for Independent free thinkers that can sift through the media bias & know that the Ds indeed are enough at fault here that they want a change. Glad polls show that group is growing.

Natural gas is pushing $10.00. Home heating season is going to be brutal.

Yeap and that is where the climate change crowd really drive me nuts. There is no better alternative than natural gas for home heating. Electric isn't as efficient and also, anyone who lives in a cold climate knows, you can easily lose power due to a winter storm. A gas furnace can easily be ran with a small generator/solar/whatever in that event as you are essentially only powering a blower motor. So it isn't to difficult to maintain heat in your home in the event of something happening to the power grid.

Is that what MSNBC told you to think?

It's not the government's job to make sure your commute is easy. Pick yourself up by your bootstraps.
Interesting take from someone who supports student debt bailout.

So, people who work for a living should suck it up. College grads and students who haven’t worked a day (or likely paid taxes) should get a break.

Things that make you go hmmm! 🤔

Apparently you think it is your job to be an a**hole every time you post? Actually it is the Government's job to maintain the roads to make commuting easier from the money they extort through taxation. Maybe you should pick yourself up by the short hairs.

If it's not the government's job to provide healthcare, education, or anything else you people would call socialism, why would public roads or affordable petroleum prices be any different? I don't think gas prices are mentioned in the Constitution.

Interesting. I see you mention the Constitution, but yet are ready to tear it up when you see fit.

Regarding your “19 Children” thread.

The Second Amendment protects an individual right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.” McDonald v. Chicago (2010)

You seem to be struggling with your bipolar today.
