Ken Pomeroy does a good job counting down the remaining undefeateds. His latest is "Undefeated teams remaining: 48 (sorry Notre Dame). I think it would be pretty cool to be the last one standing. Some attrition will happen naturally, especially with these holiday tournaments.

Here are the unbeatens that are in action today:

Chattanooga already won a Non-division 1 game
Houston vs Wisconsin in Maui in Las Vegas (huh?)
Miami-Ohio vs non-division 1
Indinia vs winless Jackson State
Providence vs Virginia
St. Mary's vs Oregon in Maui in Las Vegas
Wake Forest vs Kennesaw St
Texas Tech vs Omaha (our opponent Friday)
Cincinnati vs Arkansas
Gonzaga vs UCLA

So at least 2 come off the list, plus potential St. Mary's and Providence. Possible, but not likely Houston.

Wisconsin putting it to Houston at the half. Something woke them up halfway through their game yesterday.

Houston and Providence go down. St. Mary's looking good. So we'll likely be down to 44.

We begin Wednesday of Feast Week with 44 unbeaten teams, including our Boilermakers of course (or else there wouldn't be a thread). 14 of them play today, and interestingly, 7 unbeatens are betting underdogs today. Some of that has to do with matchups against fellow unbeatens. Could have as many as 8 off the board today.

All times Central
11am - Loyola-Chicago (+2.5) vs Michigan State in Atlantis - teacher vs student
1:30pm - Auburn (+2.5) vs UConn in Atlantis
4pm - St. Mary's (+1) vs Wisconsin in Maui in Las Vegas
6pm - Iowa State (+8) vs Xavier in NIT tipoff
6:30pm - Baylor (-13) vs Arizona St in Atlantis
7:30pm - California Baptist (+22) @ Texas
7:30pm - Florida (-2) vs Ohio St in Fort Myers
8pm - Minnesota (-15) vs Jacksonville
8pm - BYU (-19.5) vs Texas Southern
8:30pm - UC San Diego (+5) @ Montana
8:30pm - Memphis (-3.5) vs Virginia Tech in NIT Tipoff

Also, Wagner is 2-0 but has had another game cancelled because of Covid.

One more head to head undefeated tonight that I missed. Santa Clara plays Fresno State at midnight CT.

3 down so far and at least 3 more to go unless you think California Baptist can beat Texas.

Counting the overnight loss by Santa Clara, we are down to 36 as I expected. Not much action today but the holiday tournaments should knock a couple more out. Happy Thanksgiving!

UConn vs Michigan St
Kansas vs North Texas
Alabama vs Iona
Baylor vs VCU
Drake vs Belmont
Mississippi St vs Louisville
San Francisco vs Towson
USC vs St. Joseph's

Just thought of this, does it make any sense to just start betting the ML against the undefeated teams at a certain point? Most teams don't got more than 7 or 8 and 0 I would imagine.

MSU beats UConn, but maybe they shouldn't have. One of UConn's better players fouled out on a horrible call that put MSU ahead after the FTs. There were about 40 seconds left I think.

On reddit, they're keeping a map of the closest county to each undefeated team.. pretty cool
I want to see the changes in the next month as teams lose and other team's areas expand. Reminds me of the Risk board game. Global domination!

Edit: Much of the Northeast US will redistribute with UCONN's loss. If Iona loses to 'Bama today, even more in that area will change.

Alabama, Drake and UConn have lost today, and Mississippi State is down big to Louisville. Probably at 32 by the time Purdue tips tomorrow.

12:30pm - Kansas vs Dayton at Disney

4pm - DePaul vs Northern Kentucky
5:30pm - Iona vs Belmont at Disney
6pm - Iowa vs Portland St
6pm - LSU vs Penn State at Emerald Coast
8pm - Wyoming vs Non-Division 1
8:30 - Wake Forest vs Oregon St at Emerald Coast
8:30 - Iowa State vs Memphis in NIT Tipoff

Should be 28 entering tomorrow. Forgot San Francisco was playing again but they are winning along with USC.

We start Saturday with 28 unbeatens. Many have already played several holiday tournament games this week but there are some more today. 14 play today including 2 H2H.

1pm (CT) - UCF (+1) vs Oklahoma
1pm - St. Bonaventure (-9.5) vs Northern Iowa
1pm - Colorado St (-14) vs Northern Colorado
2pm - Miami, OH (-4) at Western Illinois
3pm - Chattanooga (-9) vs College of Charleston
3pm - Texas Tech (-28) vs Lamar - The Pat Knight Championship
6pm - Indinia (-11) vs Marshall
6pm - LSU (-7) vs Wake Forest at Emerald Coast
6:30 - Arizona (-29) vs Sacramento St
6:30 - Washington St (-20) vs E. Washington
8pm - Weber St (-11.5) at Dixie State
8:30 - BYU (-1.5) at Utah

Some carnage already before the H2H games. UCF, St. Bonnie, and Miami, OH all have lost already.

And Chattanooga is down late.

Kudos for the Pat Knight reference.

Only 4 teams play today, so unlikely to get much carnage.

11am - Florida (-21.5) vs Troy
1pm - DePaul (-11.5) vs Eastern Michigan
3pm - Arkansas (-18) vs Penn
8pm - Fresno St (+2) at California

Fresno lost last night to bring us down to 20! Not much of a slate of games tonight.

6pm - Iowa (+2) at Virginia
8pm - Wyoming (-4) at Cal State Fullerton

Iowa will lose soon enough ....

If the boilers can get through these next 5 major program opponents, it'll be very impressive.

They night not get to 1 though because Duke's schedule is complete trash after osu

Still 20 left standing today as Iowa beat Virginia late and Wyoming keeps roping them up.

6pm - Minnesota (-2.5) @ Pitt
6pm - Indinia (-2.5) @ Syracuse
6:30 - Purdue (-11) vs Florida State
8:30 - Duke (-2.5) @ Ohio State

I would be surprised if all 4 survived. 3 road teams all favored by 2.5.

How is Duke, the number one team in the nation only favorited by 2.5 at an unranked OSU?

Seems the odds makers knows something the AP voters dont.

If this PU game was at FSU, we would only be favored by 4-5 pts.

Did anyone lose last night? Someone help me out here. Seems like there were some big games....LOL

We start the day with 18 unbeatens. Purdue can take over most of the Northeast US if Seton Hall beats Wagner, still 2-0 after several cancelled games.

6pm - Wagner (+16.5) at Seton Hall
7pm - Arkansas (-33) vs Central Arkansas
7pm - Iowa St (-27.5) vs Arkansas-Pine Bluff
7pm - LSU (-11) vs Ohio
7pm - Florida (-1) at Oklahoma
7:30 - Texas Tech (-2) at Providence
8pm - BYU (-13) at Utah Valley
8pm - Colorado St (-20.5) vs Arkansas Little Rock
10:30 - USC (-7.5) vs Utah

I'm going with 2 teams losing, Wagner and Texas Tech.

BYU lucky to get to overtime against Utah Valley. I'm actually watching it on the grainy BYU channel!
