Miller has found his way to the field the way that many walk-ons do: via special teams. In 2022 he played in the Indiana State game and got a tackle very late. Since that was the only game he played in, he was able to redshirt. He played last year in 11 of 12 games and finished hte year with six tackles. He had two of those tackles against Illinois, so he might get into the rotation at linebacker a little more.
Still, like Ben Furtney yesterday, Miller is an experienced special teamer, and that is a good thing.
