4 Seed in Spokane

I'd take that seeding and bracket for sure!

I know it's meaningless right now, but I like looking at stuff like this.... I see he has IU playing Maryland in a 2 vs 7 match up. I didn't think conference teams could play each other until sweet 16, am I wrong about that??

Dryfly88, you are remembering pre-conference expansion bracket rules. From the 2015-2016 NCAA document on building the D1 men's basketball bracket,

"Teams from the same conference may play each other as early as the second round if they played no more than once during the regular season and conference tournament."

Since IU & Maryland only have 1 regular season game, the bracket is valid as long as they don't play each other in the B1G tournament.

On a positive note, the NCAA has given up the effort of trying to call the "play-in" games the first round. They are now officially called the "First Four" and the round of 64 is now officially back to being called the 1st round, etc.

Wow thank god. Trying to change the name of the first round was stupid and annoying.

As one who was thoroughly unimpressed with Pitt, I'd take that 2nd round matchup on a neutral court.
No way will there be 3 B1G teams in 1 bracket. As for Pitt, I remember thinking that about KState in '88 when they beat us at the Silverdome after we beat them easily during the season. I'd prefer not to play anyone that early in the tourney that we've already beaten.
