I heard he wants to play track. My son will look forward to the competition.
I think the duel offer coming from purdue for both programs and that both programs are on the rise was a big selling point.
Are you saying Purdue's football and track programs are going to compete in a duel for the recruit?
I recall Indiana being one of the many States outlawing them....
Goes almost without saying that George Karlaftis would be a great step for CJB in recruiting momentum.
No, what I am saying is that Purdue may have aligned their track and football offers to be able to reel in not only a high level football recruit but one that is considered a high level thrower for track. If George enjoys track and field and that ability to do both gives Purdue an edge against Miami and Michigan....then by all means, let the kid throw a disc, throw a shot put, or throw the hammer.

Purdue's track team could use another decent shot putter and hammer thrower. I'd give it a "shot".
