We played our best game of the weekend against the best of the three teams. This one was never in doubt. Good win Boilers.

That was encouraging. Our D seems to be in very good shape and may need to carry us. If we can beat Illinois on the road, which will not be easy as they are improved and took down then #9 Kentucky, we get Minn and Indiana at home. So could be a good start before the buzz saw of Md and Iowa back to back on the road. This is still potentially an NCAA team but there are sure no guarantees. Bays is playing great and Keys seems to be a star in the making. Overall, good balance offensively.
I am still perplexed in that we supposedly get very good shooters out of high school but they don't shoot very well once they get to Purdue i.e., Hamby, Morrisette, Wilson Hall, etc. And without shooting well we aren't going to win very many big time games. Unless we have an overwhelmingly dominant inside game which we don't have either.
