Personally I don't think it matters who we play nor the outcome unless we win the whole thing at this point.Originally posted by lbodel:
I'd prefer to play Iowa, as it will not be a bad loss if it is a loss. Losing to Penn State could be dangerous.
Penn State would be playing their 3rd game in 3 days, as well as playing on Sunday, but I'm not sure if it would be that big of an effect at that point. The United Center is a bit different than your typical arena as well, which PSU has been able to get some games under their belt.
If Purdue showed up ok offensively, Purdue will do well against either. But if Purdue struggles offensively, I don't want to be playing a team with momentum.
I know folks are worried about a possible loss to a 100+ rated team, but if PSU beats Iowa, Purdue and plays Wisconsin, wont that bump their RPI up on the RPI scale to a no longer "bad loss" (even with a loss to Wiscy)? I don't think the worst case scenario is as bad as people think.Originally posted by lbodel:

Exactly. That is why I have been saying that in regards to us at this point it doesn't matter what happens unless we win the whole thing.Originally posted by Grover:
