34-34 IOWA v. PSU

Seems like you beat me by a few seconds. I didn't want to post a new thread, but no one was talking about this yet so I went ahead and threw one up. haha.

Iowa looked tired in the first half. Chambers noticed it and had his guys running. Keep it up because I'd like to face both of them with dead legs.

52-42 PSU leading with about 6 minutes to go

Hmm-not what I expected

McCaffrey. Was getting pissed off and they missed a pretty obvious goal tend.

I'd prefer to play Iowa, as it will not be a bad loss if it is a loss. Losing to Penn State could be dangerous.

Penn State would be playing their 3rd game in 3 days, as well as playing on Sunday, but I'm not sure if it would be that big of an effect at that point. The United Center is a bit different than your typical arena as well, which PSU has been able to get some games under their belt.

If Purdue showed up ok offensively, Purdue will do well against either. But if Purdue struggles offensively, I don't want to be playing a team with momentum.

Personally I don't think it matters who we play nor the outcome unless we win the whole thing at this point.

Re: 56-52 PSU leading with about 4 minutes to go

Iowa piling up the offensive boards.....think this goes to the last possession even with PSU up a couple of scores.

I know folks are worried about a possible loss to a 100+ rated team, but if PSU beats Iowa, Purdue and plays Wisconsin, wont that bump their RPI up on the RPI scale to a no longer "bad loss" (even with a loss to Wiscy)? I don't think the worst case scenario is as bad as people think.

...and I believe that we will win, anyway.

Wow. Who'd a thunk it? Hope we were watching. We played down to 'em last time. Now we need to play above them. BTFU!

Final PSU 67- Iowa 58

White looks like he must have gotten poked in the eye as they were watering as he walked off the court.. Congratulations Lions.

Exactly. That is why I have been saying that in regards to us at this point it doesn't matter what happens unless we win the whole thing.
