With the recent additions at their positions probably not this season, but idk if they will find pt anywhere higher up the food chain this year so probably lateral moves or lower. Cox switched positions so he's probably not ready

I was just (20 minutes ago) talking to one of my students who was formerly with the football team (medical retirement) about the new coaching staff. He said the players were enthusiastic about the youthful energy of the new coaches, but then he added "except for the guys who got CUT in the last few days." That led me to infer that these departures were unilateral decisions on the part of the coaching staff.
Was never a huge fan but thought he might fit in an air raid type system.
The portal has done a big thing for coaching staffs too…allows them to cut dead weight of guys that will never contribute.
I heard alot of guys leaving. Don't know the circumstances so I don't want to speculate but heard around 20.
Technically there’s nothing to speculate about. If you’re not in the portal now you can’t go anywhere else other than home. Seems the 20 number would be right between guys who were on n from the fall and guys who are in from the April 15-30 window
I counted 23 guys have entered the portal since the season ended and they lost 15 guys to the draft/graduation so a grand total of 38. Once all said and done it’ll be a 50% change over on the scholarship grid…wow! It’s now a full time job making sure where the team stands on scholarships!
yeah...I can see this being the end of me and college football. I don't even know who I'm cheering for anymore.
