Who was the last kid we signed that played for Meanstreets?
Feel like that program doesn’t care for Painter.
I’ve seen him play three times and he’s got a long way to go.
Was in top 20 in scoring as a sophomore he will get better may break all of Moores scoring records at East Chicago Central
Good to hear we’re evidently still very much in the mix for Perry. I hope the in home visit goes well. If Perry were to commit does that eliminate Gicari Harris as a pursued recruit? Speaking of guards, are we still in the mix for Haralson?
I’ve heard very little about Moreno but Brantley and staff are great at developing bigs! Trent Sisley might seem to be the better pick up though if we can land him. Those two would be different positions though as a 5 & 4 respectively.
Now for the question that a lot of Boiler fans wanna ask, are we still recruiting Flory hard or does the rumor going around that he’s pretty much eliminated Purdue from serious consideration have legs?

The competition he is playing against is not all that. I’ve seen Lake Central shut him down twice last year. I think he had about six points the first time and he shot a lot. Looked like he had an attitude issue in that game also. After the half, he sulked around and didn’t even take one warm up shot. In the games I’ve seen him play his outside shot is non existent. He ain’t no E‘Twaun Moore. Again, he has a long way to go.
Yes but the state is aware of him by putting him on the team that plays before the all state senior and junior team in June
I hope he improves a lot. Looking forward to watching some good players in the region. And as you certainly know, we need some. Lol!
Yeah, I am hearing we (he) has backed off. I think we dodged a Bullitt here. Doubtful Painter will recruit a non-shooter from here on out. We have scholarships for both Perry and Harris. Keep an eye open for EJ Walker a 6'8 wing from Ky. He is a 2025 but likely will reclassify to 2024. Definitely all in on Haralson Purdue coaches watched every game of his this weekend Especially Johnson. Not sure about Moreno but it appears to me that few will want to challenge TKR and Berg with 3yrs for TKR and 4 years for Berg remaining. Sisley is a target and IMO it will come down to playing time for him.
Fair enough but we didn’t get Damezi Anderson, which was for the better, Jalen Washington to name a few recent ones. Just feel like anything having to do with the Chicago area doesn’t bode well with Painter’s style.
