2 Things I'm not liking

1) How easy we got the ball stolen right out of our hands on the dribble throughout the BTT. Easily fixable with focus and ball security.

2) How everyone and their brother are telling Iowa State they are going to get beat by Iona. I know if we take care of business that shouldn't matter. But I remember all those times Purdue was told and given fuel for the fire. I always liked hearing how we were going to lose. Bc I knew that was the biggest motivation.

Purdue 1st game by 32, 2nd game by 20, on to Chi-town

exactly, not sure what that was all about...maybe they are confusing us with IU, who turns it over like a sieve.

I would say that 2 of those 5 were really bad. A forward trying to dribble into a crowd of defenders rarely ends well, and it happened twice. Prompted MP to call a time-out to apply some gentle reminders about passing and team play. Hopefully that was the end of it.

We are good at protecting the ball, no worries in the UALR game, none at all. UALR is completely out-matched. next....................

Just a hunch, but I doubt Iowa State loses to Iona.

Ya, I know the stretch run for Iowa State wasn't the greatest, but they lost a 3/14 first round match-up to UAB last year. I think Iona will have their full attention.

Takedown is probably remembering the bigs dribbling into double teams in the Michigan game. Those were frustrating.
