Odom has a son who is a QB. Did not know that.Odom's QB son and a HS teammate flipped. Both with legit offers. A LB WITH LEGIT OFFERS OMG
Feels like it's been forever since we had multiple good LBsOdom's QB son and a HS teammate flipped. Both with legit offers. A LB WITH LEGIT OFFERS OMG
His abilities do not match up well with go go offense. He is not ranked high but his offers say otherwise (PSU, A&M, nebraska, Louisville)Odom has a son who is a QB. Did not know that.
At this point it's still an upgrade.Legit offers on both but overall ranking for LB sub 80.. interesting
For any Purdue Coach it seems....Feels like it's been forever since we had multiple good LBs
Yes, in Fayetteville, where they lived before he took the UNLV job.So his son was playing high school football in Arkansas while he was coaching in Vegas?
Probably 03 since we had 3.Feels like it's been forever since we had multiple good LBs
They also had Iwuchukwu as a freshman. Keglar also would have made the rotation but had a high ankle sprain early in the season. Even George Hall from those linebackers had a cup of coffee in the NFL. Talk about a loaded linebacking corps. That whole D was incredibly talented.Probably 03 since we had 3.
Not sure I will ever live to see a trio at Purdue better than Koutivides, Johnson and Gardner. I believe Joe Odom came off the bench for that team as well.
did you guys see that Herbie's son committed to Mich the other day?Odom has a son who is a QB. Did not know that.
Bentley and Bailey.Feels like it's been forever since we had multiple good LBs
good size tooOdom's QB son and a HS teammate flipped. Both with legit offers. A LB WITH LEGIT OFFERS OMG
Yeah I just thought it was interesting. Most kids move away from their parents when they go to college. His son will be doing the opposite. Not that I expect he will live with them whenever he gets to Purdue.Yes, in Fayetteville, where they lived before he took the UNLV job.
Injury I assume, was cause of missing season?Quite the offer list for Meese! 7 SEC teams and 14 more P4 teams. But 247 has him a 2* on their own rankings. Missing a year really made him tail off in the rankings it seems.
Yea all 3 NFL guys right there. I think our last great LB was BentleyThey also had Iwuchukwu as a freshman. Keglar also would have made the rotation but had a high ankle sprain early in the season. 2002 team was pretty good on D. Held National Champion Ohio State to 3 points before giving up a game winning TD near the end. It was a long td pass, I was there and can still see it. Final was 10-6. Clarett had like 60 yards rushing. They also had Iwuchukwu as a freshman. Keglar also would have made the rotation but had a high ankle sprain early in the season. A couple of close losses in that same year but yeah this one hurt bad.
Talk about pain. When musberger said “they’re gonna put the I back behind the full back here” I just remember thinking “they’re gonna throw it.”
Playing that way against the true powers is something we haven’t sniffed since 2003. Even in 2021 they handled Iowa and Penn state but had no chance against Ohio state. Michigan is another matter because they cheated
We had a bunch of absurd losses that year. ND was a stupid loss, Iowa, Wake Forest. Just ridiculous turnovers and bad breaks all year longA couple of close losses in that same year but yeah this one hurt bad.
