16-17 B1G Schedule

With the top teams expected to be MSU, IU, and Wisconsin we at least get all of them at home one time. Don't have to play at Wisconsin. That can be viewed as favorable.

And we don't have to go to Illinois. No matter how bad they are we don't seem to play well there as of late.

The last two trips were poor but prior to that we had quite a bit of success there.

I like that the core of our schedule includes all historic B1G opponents and Penn State -- which, given the major conference realignments since 2010, starts to make PSU look like a "historic" B1G school.

If we can beat MSU and IU twice, that probably means we are doing really well. Wishful thinking? Maybe. But I like getting the chance to play the best in the conference twice a year. And when we can't play twice, Wisc, it's nice to get them at home.

If we sweep IU and MSU that is a likely title. Tough to pull that off but hell yes that would be fun.

Win all the home games and 5 of 9 on the road and you'll be in the conference championship hunt. Hopefully that's possible with this schedule. I actually think we can win 5 of 9 on the road but going unbeaten at home will be very tough.
