Southern Mississippi and St. John's lost today. 12 remaining unbeatens.

With their next (Division 1) game:

UNLV vs Hawaii Wed.
New Mexico vs UTSA Sat
Utah St @ San Francisco tonight
Mizzou vs Kansas Sat
Texas vs Illinois Tue
Houston vs N. Florida Tue
Mississippi St @ Minnesota next Sunday
Auburn vs Memphis Sat
Purdue vs Hofstra Wed
Virginia vs James Madison Tue
UConn @ Florida Wed
Maryland @ Wisconsin Tue

If Purdue stays focused and keeps playing hard as a team, I think the Boilers could still be unbeaten when they visit Ohio State in early January. I am NOT saying it will happen. Nebraska just beat Creighton. Rutgers has been a thorn in Purdue's side in recent years. One bad night could mean a slip up against any of the remaining non-conference teams.

If (IF) they can get to 14-0, who knows. Very good Purdue teams have struggled in Value City Arena.

I'll be honest I wasn't really that concerned about the game at Nebraska. I am now. They have beaten FSU, Boston College and now Creighton their past 3 games. Interested to see how they look in Bloomington this week.
I just assume that there are no gimmes on the road in conference games. Plenty of good Purdue teams have struggled at places like Nebraska, Rutgers, Penn State, Minnesota, and Northwestern.

They rolled FSU. Granted it was at home and they didn't have to do it after playing a tournament, traveling cross country and experiencing sleep deprivation, but this Nebraska team is no joke. Best come ready to play.

My bet is that Maryland goes down tonight at Wisconsin. Tough place to play. To me, it feels a little like IU visiting Rutgers last Saturday.
