Sure....waiting on him to improve enough to prove that he can be a major player. Had he been a major player he would have seen a lot more time. Look at other teams who were in the tourney with fantastic freshman guards who started and played. I'll give the young man his dues when he's earned...
Here's my thought on Braden...He's helped get the Boilers to the final game. He's not big enough to go pro, so maybe he's thinking that if he transferred to the right school, he could be set for life financially. Maybe.
Purdue needs players who understand what defense is, and though he improved a miniscule amount, he's going to have to have a massive improvement to play. If he does that at a much better level, I can agree with your that in time....
Fletcher is not a liability on defense as much as others coming off the bench. He's going to be a starter as long as he's at Purdue. He's flat out earned it.
You're absolutely wrong. He will certainly land some where because of his experience. You tend to forget he was a well recruited player and Mr. Basketball in Pennsylvania.
I'm saddened by this move....for the team. But happy for the New Castle guy who will be well compensated next season. And I hope Morton lands somewhere great for him. I'm sure CMP will help both.
