    OSU

It's an arbitrary cut off but in the last 9 games, IU has shot 40% from 3. Before that, IU was shooting something like 24% from 3. IU's defense of the 3 point line is a far bigger issue imo than is it's ability to hit 3s.

    Josh Sales to Purdue

Unless I'm forgetting someone, most of the guys that have left IU for Purdue have done very little. Only one that I can think of that had a good run was Reece Taylor who was solid for Purdue in his final year. I wish Sales the best but he had every chance to be successful at IU and he never...

I guess the Hoosiers are pretty high on their new coach and JMU's players:

It's too early to conclude anything about this IU team's prospects for wins. While Cignetti has very quickly rebuilt the offense through the portal, the defense has major holes. If and when Cignetti addresses that side of the ball, then I suppose we can better asses what kind of a team it will be.

    Josh Sales to Purdue

IU's back up tackle is going to be a Boiler. He was the primary back up the last two years and imo, can become a B1G quality starter if he gets his body in better shape. He has size and talent but needs to be a lighter to be a contributor.

    Jacobsen to announce friday

FWLIW, I went to high school with Jacobsen's dad and he was and is a terrific guy. He's been sharing video on facebook of his sons (Daniel has a younger brother who I think is 6'8") working on their games since they were in 5th or 6th grade. It may take some time for Daniel to get B1G ready...

How Woodson doesn't get fired like all the other iu coaches

On expectations, things will change for Woodson if time passes and he can't get out of the second round of the tournament. Fort now, however, that his team lost a 4/5 game to a Miami team that went to the final 4 isn't exactly a disaster. And yes, sweeping your rival doesn't hurt either. As for...

Ranking the Big Ten quarterbacks heading into 2023

The lack of experience for most of these guys makes it very difficult to project. You're relying mostly on recruiting rankings and assumptions regarding each player's surrounding cast. My view is that #s 5-14 in particular are reasonable guesses but could just as easily be chosen by picking...

looks like iu will land mcgumba

When your students start chanting "MSU sucks" at non-MSU games, then you may have a point.

looks like iu will land mcgumba

Interesting side note. Kansas now has only two returning scholarship players for next year (KJ Adams and Dajuan Harris). Obviously enormous roster turnover. And yet, whether they get Mgbako or not, they are going to be very good next year.

He cancelled his Louisville visit apparently. Sounds like it's between IU and Kansas.

Woodson making a splash in the old transfer pool!

The obvious answer is the significant increase in TJD's passing ability out of the post and in transition. How many centers averaged 4 assists a game? Edey does a nice job passing out of the post and averages 1.5 per game. TJD averaged 2 per game as a junior and made that big jump in his senior...

Woodson making a splash in the old transfer pool!

Whether Woodson deserves credit or not, TJD's numbers this past year were 21 points, 11 boards, 4 assists, and 3 blocks per game. The idea that a "better coach" would have boosted TJD to something greater than first team AA is laughable.

Woodson making a splash in the old transfer pool!

Referencing Edey's ranking is silly. Edey is an enormous talent. Painter has done a great job developing him but let's not pretend like Edey isn't a uniquely talented kid. As for TJD, he doubled his per game assists totals this past year, increased his per game points, boards, blocks and...

Woodson making a splash in the old transfer pool!

Are you suggesting that TJD did not thrive under Woodson? I have no idea whether Ware will improve and live up to his potential but the idea that TJD was anything less than great under Woodson is absurd.

    Lance Jones

I'm an IU fan so I have little incentive to pump him up but I really like Jones. I saw him play in high school at Evanston (same school as Nojel) a number of times and always thought he was the toughest, most competitive kid on the floor. It's easy to talk about the things he can't do, but imo...

My banter in this case was pretty good imo.

    Edey to IU?

This whole thread is basically a circle jerk. Do you really think that IU fans as a group think that Edey is going to leave Purdue for IU? Congrats if you found a few idiots in the IU fan base. I hate to break it to you but but finding a few delusional idiots is not hard to do in any fanbase...

    Walters swinging for the fences

Leeper played football for the first time this year so he hasn't been recruited much until very recently. If you watch his film, you see an athletic and agile kid with good hands in a 6'7" frame who if he can put on weight, has a ton of upside. He now has offers from Wake Forest, IU and Iowa...
