    Scholarship players cannot become non scholarship players and remain in the program. They can stay at Purdue and have a scholarship, just wouldnt be able to play ball here.

    He's a walk on, he's played only in garbage minutes. He's actually one of the better walk ons Ive seen played at Purdue however. Chances are he's at Purdue to learn from Painter and try to get into coaching like his dad, but unlike his dad, he's not Big Ten talent.

    Hes athletic enough, and he used to be able to shoot well as a freshman. The problem is he is worse now. He used to start over Mason, and was better than TKR as a freshman as well. He probably just hasn't put in the work, a career in basketball isnt for everyone.

    Hopefully winning a tough road win gives them the confidence they can beat decent teams on the road. Its the only real weak point thus far for this team.

    Houston wasnt ahead of PU before their loss, why would their loss jump PU's loss. Uconn didn't lose, so maybe there is recency bias for losing teams, but UConn doesnt have the quality of wins PU has for a 2 loss team.

    You have some parity for the top 70 or so teams. But how do you feel if you are say SIU? You hate the NIL. Its great for the teams at the top, but mis majors will never be able to compete like they could in years past. Fyi SIU lost Lance Jones obviously, but the guy from IL that scored 25 or so...

    I think Berg is better than Furst right now. If Furst cant hit 3s better than 25% you might as well give Berg his minutes as he is better around the rim. Berg is pretty quick for a 7 footer.
