Purdue beat Michigan State 3-0 in Holloway Gymnasium. Sets were 25-19, 25-22 and 25-18. Raven Gray, who was not at either the Minnesota or Northwestern games last week, was back on the bench for Purdue but did not play.

Not that it is any surprise to Purdue fans, but Edey appears to be on a mission. He was always in great shape for his size, but it appears that he is doing even better than that.

With the way things have been going for Purdue one really has to feel sorry for the players. They've already been on the wrong side of a 66 to 7 and a 52 to 6 shellacking, and with the upcoming schedule no doubt more lopsided scores will be forthcoming. Hard to remain upbeat or have a positive attitude under those circumstances!

Ryan Walters is sure making those prognosticators look good. Is there a chance that there will be another win this season? I know the schedule is formidable, but
I'm wondering if there is any hope at all as long as Walters crew are in charge! Perhaps it is time for Purdue to bite the bullet and get rid of Walters and hire someone else!

If Walters does not have enough respect for Purdue to resign, which he probably will not do, this is what Purdue needs to do!

Demote the current DC to another position, demote Walters to handle the defense, so we can see for ourselves if he really is the defensive genius he was touted to be! No use paying
these coaches to sit home and draw paychecks, let them do some work to earn what they are owed!

Start an immediate search for a new head coach. Do not allow the AD to be in charge of the search, because he has proven he is not qualified to do that job! Instead hire an experienced search firm to find the candidates Furthermore there's plenty of time available to find a new coach so the search can be a thorough one!

Let the quarterback start calling his own plays!

Appoint an assistant AD as interim head coach - hopefully one with football experience!

None of this would be detrimental to the program, since the program has already reached bottom!

Can’t let this continue. You have to just make the move now and start your search. And you have to have a major change in the approach from the university. A big time financial commitment is necessary right now, or just forget about it. This program is in very serious trouble right now.

Since Jack Mollenkopft, after each coach with a winning record, at least the next two had losing records. That's after Jim Young,Tiller and now maybe Brohm.
