I think it's great we're getting drugs and criminals out of the country. Have said anything different? Just taking liberties with the truth again?

Explain why we are getting taken advantage of in trade by Mexico and Canada when trump said he fixed NAFTA and solved the problems.
Good to hear again your approval of the border. Pretty hard to fix NAFTA in two weeks. He wants to bring those jobs back to the country. I hope your people are on board with this.

You, the Boneman for sure, and others need to enroll in a local community college and take some history classes.

It is not obvious. Most slavery in history was not race based as there was no such thing as the concept of different races of humans. The concept of the different races of humans did not come until the racist Europeans in 16,17 centuries came up with the concept of caucasian, negroid, and mongloid(Asian) races. The racist European so-called scientists measured skulls and published false findings that since the skulls of caucasians were larger than the skulls of the negroids, that caucasians were more intelligent.

Out of all of that chattel or race based slavery was born along with the transatlantic slave trade. Chattel slavery is where the enslaved is property of the owner for life or until sold to someone like property. Most of the enslaved during the transatlantic slave trade were Africans. They went to the Americas including the US, Caribbean and South America.
But, wiithout black Africans selling their fellow black Africans into slavery, the transatlantic slave trade wouldn't have existed. It wasn't about race, it was about economics and supply/demand, in this case the SnD was for human labor. No white Europeans went onto African soil and rounded up a group of blacks, put them in shackles and force marched them onto a ship.
Had India or China been in closer proximity to Europe and the US, those two areas would have supplied the slave labor. In fact, much of India, when it was under British rule, used Indian slaves.
Yes, slavery was horrific, but white people aren't the only reason it existed.

So you think a few hundred years ago that had someone brought Asians to the northern states to sell to teh southern states that the southern states wouldn't use Asians as they did blacks? The scientist you mention as racist is separate from slavery. It is entirely possible to be racist or not to be racist and still enslave people as a result of their vulnerability to be sold as slaves. I've mentioned before, and it never soaked in, that people enslaved their own race as a result of vulnerability and this has went on for thousands of years. All slaves whether bought or taken as a result of direct war were owned by those that bought or "took" and were subject to anything the owners wanted as they were all property that was owned.

Your desire to focus on the USA absent any historical understanding on slavery for thousands of years and somehow think slavery was worse in the USA is wrong. Slavery never had a good outcome for any slave unless the owner decided...and few chose for a more equal setting. Slavery at any time in history or any place in history has always, in spite of mores' at the time, been wrong. Even today slavery is going on and it is no better than that in the USA years ago. Vulnerability has aways been the common denominator for any enslaved, else there would be no slaves anywhere.

Colvin and Heide 3P splits

I don't understand it.

Through the first 40 games of his career, Colvin was 38-89 from three. That's 42.7% which is phenomenal. Over his last 12 games, he's 10-42 (23.8%) and that includes a 4-8 game against Nebraska. Without that game, he's 6-34 (Woof....17.6%).

Concurrently, through the first 48 games of his career, Cam Heide was 29-58 from three. That's a tremendous 50.0%. Over his last 13 games, he's 4-29 (Yikes....13.8%).

Through much larger sample sizes, Colvin and Heide showed to be very good shooters and they've fallen off a cliff. Any thoughts?
Well the way you normally do this at Purdue is to play defense like your life depended on it. The offense will come.

Read slowly.

Trump said the USMCA was the greatest trade deal ever. Now he says Canada and Mexico have been ripping us off under a deal he takes credit for. How does that happen if the deal was the best ever?

Biden?
Because Trump made the deal and like everything Trump did Biden executive ordered out of existence or didn't enforce it.
Trump is now back in office, sit back and enjoy the ride.

I think a .500ish record give or take a few games will give her another year. I guess you could consider that a big step forward from this season.
As indicated in an earlier post, I've seen enough and am more than ready to move on to another coaching team even though her buyout is inappropriately high. However, I agree that she'll get another year and not more than that (hopefully) unless there is some substantial improvement. My definition of substantial improvement is something very close to .500 in the B1G conference games. An easy (or hard) non-conference schedule could skew the win-loss assessment.

I think you're mixing up the concept of slavery and racism.

Why do they not play him more?!

Candidly, I think they're still figuring it out. He definitely gets utilized better with Ja Morant - the foul trouble doesn't seem to be aa much of an issue any more. He played 25 tonight, and his season high is 28 minutes. Think about 32 would be optimal range.

They've also been working him back through some injuries.

I watched a good part of the game in Milwaukee - it's still a struggle for me to watch more than 5 minutes straight of NBA action at a time, but I do like the way Memphis can play compared to some other squads. Bucks were just jacking most of the game (20-45 from deep is pretty decent though), and when they were hot, they would surge, but the lead dissipated quickly on multiple occasions - Memphis had 107 FG attempts and dominated the glass.

Ja Morant back in the line-up tonight, and Memphis takes down San Antonio for the third time this season.

Big Maple with 16 and 14 with three steals in a +25 effort in an efficient 25 minutes. ZE had 14 and 11 in 19 minutes on Sunday in Milwaukee. Grizzlies are going to be a tough out in the West along with Oklahoma City and Houston - some new young teams in the mix.

It wouldn't surprise me if it is strongly suggested that she bring in at least one new experienced assistant coach after this season is over.

Sometimes I wonder how much Beth Couture retiring has contributed to this downfall.
Couldn't agree more, that probably means CKG letting a boilermaker go as I think Stephens is safe since he's done a fairly good job recruiting so far. CKG could use another experienced coach to lean on though.

Bobby Knight song - pretty good

We need to get a 4 that can play off of TKR and Braden. I don’t see one on the roster.
I assume folks will say TKR is the 4 and Jacobsen the 5.

That may very well be the lineup, and yes Burgess may be in line for more time. But 3 bugs isn't enough depth. We need a versatile big who can cover for depth, injury, foul trouble or just an odd night.
