There's plenty to criticize KG about, but your obsession to compare Collier to Clark to make up a phony critical comment about KG is getting old. Go back a read the discussion on on this topic last June. This was not a "stupid" statement. KB was only referencing shooting. I think Collier has near a 95% FT shooting percentage during her college career (last year she shot 96.1% (146-152) of her FTs). As previously indicated, that was the best percentage of the thousands of men's or women's DI, DII, DII, or NAIA players last year. So, you would rather have Clark at the FT line? Shooting open shots within her range, it is very plausible that Collier would hit a higher percentage compared Clark. KG made absolutely no statement about Collier's ability to get open or create a shot. In fact, KG has noted her lack of ability to do so.

I'm fully on-board with moving on to a new era from the KG experiment, but you are a making a "stupid" (using your words) argument on this particular issue that is isolated to only your mind.

I admit: I did not think it would be this bad. Purdue just hasn't been competitive against good teams, except 1 game against Maryland

Still relying heavily on senior transfers who 1) don't seem to be very effective against quality opponents--save maybe Lombard, and 2) aren't long-term solutions, anyway.

I don't blame Lombard/Bass/Collier. They are the players they are. It's not their fault they're the best options nearly half way through the season.

One honest question: is this roster a Katie Gearlds problem, an NIL problem, or some combination of the two?

Arkansas does not necessarily fall into that category, although I'm not sure I put Arkansas into the top half. And one of their most prominent players, Johnell Davis, is a Covid senior.

Alabama definitely should be included as old and will regress. THREE of their starters, Sears, Omoruyi, and Nelson, are Covid seniors, and so is another key contributor in Chris Youngblood.

Florida is scary and kind of an exception, but they also have three starting seniors, including a Covid senior, that are the main contributors.

Maybe less byes for automatic qualifiers and you out the best teams regardless of AQs so the first round of games are more evenly matched up and the clear bear get the byes. So Penn state and Texas get byes and in indianas case they probably play noise state in the first round and make that more exciting. Or get rid of AQs. Or they use quad games like in basketball. Not sure if that eliminates indiana still in the case for this year.
