Your school's athletic site ignores your sport...

I'm not a facebook guy...but have you noticed that the Purdue Athletics Facebook site has completely stopped posting updates on football? The comments on the postings about the football team were usually pretty funny...like highlights of the game after we'd get crushed...or postings about DH press conferences and then people having a field day with their comments!

Seems that they gave up in advance of the Northwestern game. There wasn't anything leading up to the NW game or any updates after the game. There is nothing posted about the Iowa game...it's all basketball and other sports!

Pretty soon the link to "football" on purdue.edu will go away..

They have shifted their IT resources from Facebook updates to calling, emailing, mail, etc. with their fundraising efforts.

Over 90% of the comments on all of their posts were negative. Don't blame them for not posting and I don't blame the people making the comments...very frustrated fan base.
