All year long we have read, on this site and elsewhere, and heard how this was the most talented Purdue team we've ever seen. I believe that this "team" has talented individuals, one or two more talented than others.
For whatever reason, coaching, chemistry, reliance on a post based offense, etc. they have not shown themselves to be all that talented a "team" when it comes to pressure situations. Their inconsistent shooting, both from the field and from the line, the lack of concentration leading to absolutely idiotic turnovers, etc. This group has fallen far short of their potential.
Damn shame!
