OT: any comments on the IUPUI split?

Sports board, but I find it pretty interesting. I think at one time based on day enrollment it was the largest campus in the state.

Their men’s bball team has been absolutely horrible for several years - like 2-3 wins a season to D3 teams.
The women have been good - but coach Carson Cunningham just escaped.
And they play at the Indy fairgrounds…

Austin Parkinson not Car.
White dudes with good hair but similarities end there. PhD and about a dozen kids for Cunningham.

CC most recently HC at Incarnate Word in San Antonio.
Not sure where next but he and Stevens are tight. And coming home is never off the table.

These moves make me sad. Was IPFW in Fort Wayne for almost 60 years and rolls off your tongue naturally after all that time.
I always liked that the 2 big rivals could still share ownership/support of multiple common campus's.
But like politics and many other things, getting along and compromising just isn't a priority anymore.
Sad for all of us.
