That is what Pitino called Purdue the before his Kentucky Wildcats took on the Boilers in the late '90's. This surprised the college basketball world and many including Vitale came to the defense of Keady....but did not slam Pitino for saying it.

Fast forward 20 years. Pitino is on the verge of have being charged with crimes. His former basketball program, is likely going to lose its 2013 year including its championship. It also faces an awful future including a possible death penalty. The rumors of Pitino cheated over the years has been shown in full light.

I guess that is what a "winner program" is supposed to look like, eh Rick?

Louisville hired a new coach on Friday and he is already talking about keeping Louisville as a top ten program. The sad truth is that the corruption and cheating at Louisville has benefitted the school and it probably won't take very long before they're back in the Final Four again. Probably before Purdue gets there.

Louisville deserves the death penalty for five years followed by five years probation (no post-season play). That won't happen. The NCAA is a cadre of sniveling cowards. They'll do virtually nothing to Louisville.
