Obviously we need to take care of business in a tough game again ILL, but with some help from IU we have the double bye.

Also, how is Iowa ahead of us in the standing. Is head to head not the first tiebreaker? If so, how is MSU ahead of us then?

Tiebreaker starts with first place team and goes backwards. Head to head only used if needed

If we beat the Illini, there is a very good chance we will see OSU in the first game of the BTT.

Damn, tho I thinks it's overall a good thing. Just like MSU having an advantage over is without going to Mackey, I guess the same applies to us not going to Iowa.

No way, IU is on the bubble too. Need other bubble teams to falter.

ESPECIALLY if it's IU.

IU winning jumps them back in top 50 RPI, thus giving us 2 more wins there. It helps our resume and helps our seeding in BTT.

Yup, this might be the one time every Boiler should be wanting a IU win ... you don't have to "root" for them per se .. but them winning is pretty important to us.

Izzo already has a history of giving a game to IU when Crean was taking heat. He'll do it again this year after the win last night. After all, Tom Crean is Izzo's love child.
