On a 2009 voter registration application. Why not? Its not like Hispanic is a race or anything. Also, he wanted to disadvantage himself given that AmeriKKKa is a land of "systemic racism" and "white privilege". Which is why so many people go out of their way to identify as white. Even if they're mixed race or something.

so he's lying? The two options were side by side, so makes sense he simply picked the wrong one...particularly since there is no other evidence of him doing this before or after.
