Haas

At first I was a little shocked until you saw the guys he was competing with for playing time. One guy is a first year NBA big man, another is a European League player, and the others are older. Sounds like he took the chance to really take the advice of some good coaches and make his game a bit better. Even getting cut, the experience will benefit him down the road. I'll bet he makes some type of national team next year to play against some good competition. Also, his game doesn't really seem to translate very well to these hastily thrown together teams. He is a big defensive presence who can control the low block on offense...and as we saw with Swanigan and the U-19 team...they want to run and gun and simply out 'athlete' the other teams.
