Russel Wilson graduated from NC St, played his 5th year at Wisconsin.

It isn't a 5th year of eligibility. No one gets those unless they get a Medical hardship waiver

I am not sure. I remember the Duke guard, Paulus? went to Syracuse to play football but never played football at Duke. Same deal with Russell Wilson did graduate in 3 years from NC State. So I guess it is legit but I do not know many that do it. With basketball it is almost a 2nd recruiting season.

Paulus was a different deal. He had exhausted his basketball eligibility at Duke, however, he could have played football there or anywhere he was admitted to grad school. His deal was similar to Roosevelt Barnes.

The rules are the same regardless of sport. It just isnt common in football yet. We have had one (Brian Hood).

Yes, but it's a 5th year transfer, he still only has 4 years of playing eligibility.

Central Michigan had a RB run very well against us in '14 who was a 5th year transfer from U Michigan.
