Whitney Bays was named Second Team All-Big Ten on Monday by the media and honorable mention by the coaches, following a season in which she's averaged a double-double.

The senior forward averaged 14.7 points, 10 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game for the Boilermakers, etching her name in several places in the Purdue record books this season.

Bays finished tied for 15th in the conference in scoring, sixth in rebounding and tied for seventh in steals.

Her 15 double-doubles this year set a Purdue single-season record and were tied for fourth-most in the conference and 17th in the NCAA. She set the Boilermakers career rebounding average record, hauling in 8.9 per game over her two seasons with at Purdue, and is tied for the highest rebounding average by a senior at 10.0 per game (Sam Ostarello - 2013).

Fellow senior Liza Clemons was honored as the Boilermakers' sportsmanship award winner, finishing the regular season with averages of 8.6 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.
