I know that a lot of people don't like soccer or are, at best, indifferent, but yesterday's game sure was a lot of fun to watch. And Lloyd giving her captain's armband to Wambach when she entered the game was one of the classiest things I have ever seen in a major sporting event.

I watched every minute of the U.S. WNT games in the World Cup. I watched a few non US games.

I've watched five minutes of USA-Honduras in the Gold Cup and it is sooooooooooo much faster.

I'm a very casual soccer fan. What I noticed this go around is that there is a TON less flopping in women's soccer.

Why is that?
